Public Reports & Accountability Reviews
Searchable, independently produced public-interest assessments of law-enforcement conduct, investigative practices and compliance with policy and law. This service is independent of the RCMP and is not a government complaint agency.
Report catalogue
Planned filters: subject, detachment/unit, report ID, category (use of force, drug enforcement, disclosure, oversight, misconduct allegations) and publication status (under review, assessment complete, corrected, withdrawn). Records are not listed as verified until their source documents and assessment status have been checked.
Archive reconciliation: earlier RCMP.ai reports, including the historical example displayed at the old site, require import and independent verification before republication. A design example or placeholder is not an established finding.
How an assessment works
- Identify the allegation, case, investigator or agency statement, and relevant dates.
- Separate original documents, allegations, corroboration, competing explanations and judicial findings.
- Request a response from affected people and agencies where appropriate.
- Record amendments, limitations and outcome status in a dated revision history.
